Since printing paper money is nothing short of counterfeiting, the issuer of the international currency must always be the country with the military might to guarantee control over the system. Ron Paul's at it again, eh? He still believes that our economic growth should be based upon how much of a shiny, yellow metal we have backing our currency, rather than upon productivity, innovation, and other tangible economic factors. But why just gold? Why not base our money on Silver, or Copper.. Hell, why not base it upon oil? Hawk
