Actually, parts of the Patriot Act are a good idea. And a few controversial items are being weeded out, aren't they?

But the real problem is we cannot trust Bush-Cheney with these kinds of powers. They abuse them. Also, Bush-Cheney showed they don't even need the Patriot Act to spy on us illegally. They just go ahead and do it. Their attitude is "sue me, I'm king."
