Much has changed since 2004. Since then, Iraq has turned into a dead end, Bush's economy is withering, Bushie grass roots activism has dried up like crabgrass hit by Round-Up and all kinds of corruption and ethics scandals hound the rightwing leadership. What a difference a year or two can make.

Under Rove, Bushies are smear experts. They are the best and most dishonest spinners and negative message spreaders in US political history. They have a hammerlock on a large section of the media and they are very well funded. However, none of that may matter going forward as voters will judge on results not spin, and GOP results are terrible. Thus, their will to win, their belief in their leaders and their moral imperative may but disappear.

Just wait too. More evidence on Ohio voting fraud will come out. But unless a credible Diebold whitleblower steps forward, we may never know who really won the election in 2004. IMHO, cheating and winning isn't the same as winning. Not in this democracy. I firmly believe Bush cheated both in 2000 and 2004, so both Gore and Kerry deserve a second chance if their hearts are in it.
