We can promote autonomy for all, manage the development process in a positive and constructive manner, help solve problems, demonstrate and encourage commitment, establish mutual expectations and benefits, promote excellence, expect mutual respect and support models of respect and cooperation, and gradually help to strengthen the confidence of every individual American to participate in a future desirable state of being, as individuals and for America.

Here, it ain't done that way. We give someone a shot at running the show. They have a certain amount of time to show results. If not, they're out the door, and someone else is given a shot.
Bush had his shot. He messed it up, but royally. Time for new blood. The question should not be if Bush can fix anything, but how can he not continue to mess things up.
For Christ's sake, Bush, stop digging. Go clear brush on the ranch til 2008, then retire to the rubber chicken circuit. Let grownups like McCain and Biden run things in the interim. You're done.
