Orca, back off Kerry. You don't know what you're talking about. Kerry is one of the two or three Dem candidates the GOP fears the most. That's why they had no weapon against him other than a totally dishonest smear campaign, election fraud and dirty tricks. All the things Bushies said about Kerry was the opposite of reality. You could see the real Kerry mopping the floor with Bush in three straight debates.

Apart from Mark Warner, who we still need to learn more about, nobody is a better Bushie beater than Kerry. Maybe he doesn't have Clinton's charisma, but no one does.

You're actually the one duped by Bushies by claiming "Kerry is finished". Bushies were always terrified of Kerry. It's Hillary they want to run against next. Just like they wanted Dean in 2004. They are the ones spreading the word that "Kerry is finished, Hillary is the one" because they are terrified of him and want her. They know they can beat Hillary. But they will never be able to smear Kerry again and they know it.

I admit Kerry's people made some mistakes in his campaign, but he came close to being the first to ever beat a war-time president, and he might have even won if all the votes had been fairly tallied. We don't know how extreme the cheating was in Ohio. Bush might very well have stolen it again.

Also remember, Kerry had an exhausting year and Bush didn't. Kerry had to shrug off cancer surgery, beat back Dean and Edwards, campaign 18 hours a day, raise 150 million dollars then take on a war-time president and trounce him. The exit polls on election day said Kerry won. But something went wrong. Kerry's fault? Uh uh. Don't blame him. And believe me, 2008 will be very different. Bush's base is largely discredited and shattered. So any strong Democrat has a much better chance, McCain notwithstanding.
