Both sides did an excellent job of pretending that they were willing to jump off of a cliff rather than settle. RIMM may be up 19% in after market trading, but NTP is walking away with $612.5 million. I'm guessing that both parties are celebrating tonight. I didn't post it, but I have always assumed that the parties would settle. There was too much at stake. Of course, like you, I didn't buy the stock.
