You are so right about the curtain of black across the entire horizon, with lightening bolts shooting out ... I grew up in the southwest, and thought I'd seen thunderstorms....but in comparison, they were NOTHING like what we saw that day in SD... It was like watching a play, with a very angry and beautiful curtain, guarding what was behind the curtain.
