Looks like Jadoo locked in a SOCOM contract for their fuel cell (of course, fuel provided by MCEL's Hydrogen on Demand system)..

This is SIGNIFICANT!! Let Jadoo sell the "razors".. MCEL wants to sell the "razorblades", and this is a major step in that direction..

Now I wonder if MCEL is going to be able to put out an actual PR related to this news? It might go a long way towards moving this stock to new highs (which I think will happen within a month or so..)

Jadoo Power Delivers on Special Operations Command Development Contract; Experience in Commercialization Allows Jadoo to Exceed Military's Expectations

FOLSOM, Calif. --(Business Wire)-- March 3, 2006 -- Jadoo Power Systems, Inc. (Jadoo) www.jadoopower.com, the leading supplier of portable fuel cell power systems, announced today the delivery of the IFS24 military development platform to the Special Operations Command (SOCOM) division of the US Military. As part of the SOCOM contract awarded to Jadoo (see release September 2004), the IFS24 was the first step in moving soldier power off legacy battery solutions currently in place.

The IFS24 power system, when fully developed & deployed, will replace existing batteries (BA-5590s) with the ability to provide the required runtime in a package that is 30% the weight of the current battery system. The IFS24 delivers expanded application capability through its integrated hybrid power management (HPM) module for optimized peak performance.

"The Jadoo IFS24 exceeded our expectations," said Mitch Wathen, SOCOM's Naval Air Systems Command representative. "The future roadmap for this technology is amazing in the areas of continued carry weight reduction and power delivery - something critical to saving the lives of our soldiers."

The IFS24 system takes advantage of Jadoo's commercialized product features found in the market today:

-- N-Stor digital "state-of-fill" interface

-- Industry standard safety valve design

-- User-friendly rapid refill system option

"Jadoo is pleased to have delivered a system with the features and benefits of the IFS24 on-time and within the budget," said Larry Bawden, President and CEO, Jadoo Power. "We are confident that our experience in bringing products to market will continue to help us push the IFS24 to new breakthrough levels."
