It took a little bit heat to boil water, is all. That altitude is not very severe. It was only twice the altitude where I grew up.

The highest I've ever climbed is Mt. Hood, which is 11,000 feet. It was cold, but I did not notice any ill effects from altitude.

Once I was interviewed on camera for my work on a fire rehabilitation by a TV guy who later travelled to the Himalayas and died of an embollism (or something) from the altitude. It becomes severe, and requires acclimatization. I've never been that high.
