Bush has proven he doesn't need The Patriot Act to spy illegally on US citizens. He has basically snubbed his nose at all privacy laws and congressional oversight. He claims that the Constitution gives him any power he wants "during war-time". Which is absurd and weak, but which means he will keep on doing whatever he wants until impeached.

Have you read The Patriot Act? I'll bet Bush hasn't.
