Halliburton is guilty of over-charging US taxpayers a minimum of 250 million dollars. That's probably just the tip of the iceberg. But instead of firing Halliburton or even fining them the Bush DOD has rewarded them with more fat no-bid contracts. This is outrageous corruption.

The Colonel I spoke to said that in Iraq, Halliburton runs everything and is considered above the law. This is outrageous too, not only the gouging they are doing in privatizing our military, but putting Halliburton above the law. And, don't forget Halliburton is trusted with managing the Iraqi oilfields, and no one in their right mind can trust Halliburton. So how much are they stealing from Iraqis there?

Cheney is guilty of at least three crimes in all this; first his accounting fraud while CEO, and the illegal subsidiary in Dubai he was using to do business with Iran, but also his lies that he divested all HAL stock, when he actually secretly kept many millions worth of stock options, plus an annual six figure salary.
