Edwards, who does not recognize the name James Q. Wilson, may have missed this paradigm shift. I'd be very surprised if Edwards is not aware of Wilson's work. I once had an opportunity to hear Wilson in a very small group, and had the opportunity personally discuss several issues with him. A very enlightening experience.
