Re: Have you shorted AMD yet, eracer? Your posts are so consistently, irrationally negative it's hard to believe you haven't.

I've said it several times before, and I'll say it again. I believe that AMD will keep it's momentum through most, if not all, of 2006. No reason to short AMD now when Q1, Q2 and Q3 should be awesome quarters. Q4 2006 and Q1 2007 should be good as well in terms of financials. However I believe the negative press Intel is generating will subside quite a bit by then and a more critical eye will be turned to AMD. Questions will be raised on how they will continue to perform with increased competition from Intel and how quickly they can transition to 45-nm considering Intel will beat them by almost a year to 65-nm.

I didn't say anything irrationally negative. To claim <$91 million profit is a good year for CPG is irrationally exhuberant. Now if you had made such a postitive comment about share price instead of profitability I would agree 100%. Every long AMD investor should be ecstatic about how far AMD's share price skyrocketing over the past few years.
