The knee-jerk reaction after 9/11 was to show the world we mean business.So what did we do,we overthrew a dictator that was under wraps for years but who controlled the labile factions in that country .By removing Saddam,as bad as he was and he was bad(but not behind the 9/11 event),we have unleashed a far worse enemy that numbers in the millions.If only the Son had asked the Father his advice on Iraq....if only!....wisdom does come with age.
