<<You are talking about mansions.>> Mini mansions. I saw a program about a two story home in DC, 400 sq ft on each floor going for $350k and it needed to be rebuilt. Now where I live in Central Illinois, $350k will get you a well built 8,000 sq ft home with a 3 car garage on 1/2 acre. That's what's selling now. Used to be the 1,800 sq ft ranch with a 2 car garage was the big seller.
