JDN, I don't see the analogy. Saddam obviously didn't have WMDs, Iran obviously has or is working hard to get them.

They have one of the world's great oil and gas supplies and are wanting to build a vast pipeline to India.

The nuclear reactor could be built in India and the pipeline not even built, with the gas being used in Iran and the thermal power station which would have been built in India being built in Iran.

So, the pipeline is the proof that they want noocular bombs. And, even without that proof, it's obvious that they want bombs, not nuclear power. It's not that they are worried about CO2 and so plan to leave their hydrocarbons in the ground.

So, Iraq and Iran WMDs are completely different. Iraq obviously didn't have them, Iran obviously will do. There is already data that Iran is building the necessaries for nuclear bombs.

Yes, I can imagine that Iran would want to extend their power. But they couldn't. If they attack anyone, they'll get a fatwah issued against them.
