As they say - the trend is your friend, and as one who trades both sides of the fence [puts & calls] I suspect that Thursday's analyst meeting produced a significant change in perspective and sentiment. The meeting's positive tone, as Blodgett alluded to, was in no doubt vetted by GOOG's lawyers, and as such strong Q1 results are probably in the offing.

Since consensus eps is $1.99-$2.00 reflecting 13%-15% sequential revenue growth I'm guessing we're looking at $2.20 or higher.

Comscore data seems to support this idea. January data confirms that growth is back on track [after a lacklustre December] and that GOOG has upped their search share, again. Alexa also points to higher search growth for GOOG - with a 19% increase in Reach and 12% increase in PV's.
