The other major factor will be having been found guilty of colluding with a corrupt FBI agent to misuse classified information. That is a very serious offense no matter why you did it, or whether you ever made a dime as a result. Throw in the arrest under false ID at the airport and the odds of getting off with time served are very, very low. I agree that the past conviction won't help. Starts to look like a pattern of dishonesty. And despite a lot of what he hear, the judge can't decide the jury was wrong about Tony's guilt. His fellow citizens have spoken - the verdict is there in black and white. Spin won't matter now.
