Ha! Like the Merry Pranksters.
I also believe in the strength of good ideas, and in proven track records at selecting stocks.
More seriously (oiy vay!, as they say here in New York), here is a stock I think you should jump on Friday if they are still at these prices. Avid is still looking good around 32 or 32 1/2. It can put on a few points in the course of a week. And it has great upward revisions, a good proprietary product, and Intel has a stake. For these and a lot of other reasons, there is little potential downside.
Here is another one on my radar screen that is starting to look attractive. CMVT is starting to look nice as it approaches 46. Do you have an opinion about the company? According to my system it checks out real well.
And keep an eye on CIEN. If it goes down to 44 1/2 or below, buy it. It will be back up to 48 or 49 in a matter of days.
I know most people in the Corel thread are opposed to making money. But how can you resist a deal like that? It is like picking the low hanging fruit.
These are the great trading stocks that I see for the moment.
What are you considering?
By the way, how bout that Presstek case? Better be careful what you say around here. As I understand it, truth is a fireproof protection against defamation suites. And you can have wrong opinions, as long as they are at least loosely based on facts that are accurate.
But saying defamatory things that you know are false, or that are not based on fact will get you into Deep Doo Doo. And the worst thing about being there is that you have to make small talk with George Bush!
Hope the little ones are ok.
And yes, NMGC is firming quite nicely. Those of us who picked it up for 18 and something (I got it at 18 1/16) will be quite pleased soon.
BTW, I would never expect someone to be obligated to provide a fixed number of ideas in any given time. Sometimes there just aren't any!
Happy Investing!
