It's a damn silly argument. "Islamic fundamentalists" are a religion, not a country. You also neglect to mention Japan, which actually brought us into the war.

Maybe as a fundamentalist Christian, you feel threatened by different fundamentalist religions. But to the casual observer, the "terrorist" portion of Islamic fundamentalists are a scattered rag tag bunch of thugs, probably numbering in low 100,000's, maybe far fewer. Nothing to parallel the power of late 30's Germany and Japan.

Of course the other part is that by attacking relatively innocent Muslim countries we are strengthening the enemy, not weakening the enemy.
