Then who are all those people in the occupied territories? There are all sorts of different myths/stories of why they left/fled, but are you saying that they all were paid for their land? If so, why was there such a fear of the concept of "right of return" and compensation?
Right of return was taken off the table even before final negotiations. That most likely would have been one of the points Palestinians would have traded for something.

I am glad to know that all those people who fled/left in 48/49 fled after they were paid for their land. They must have just made poor investments in the stock market. (g)
