"What did you think about INTC's guidance.......that demand is slowing?"

I think it is true... for them. Notice where they also admitted to losing market share this Q, something I don't believe they have admitted to before, despite having done it the past couple of quarters.

Q105 wasn't down as much seasonally from Q404 as normal. Q106 very likely is following a more normal trend, down 5% or so from Q405. AMD is probably going to sell about the same as they sold in Q4, all indications are that they are totally fabbed out like they were in Q4. Total sales might be down a little, there were some price cuts, but the units should be the same, if not a little over Q4. Now true, AMD did suck down inventory during Q4, something they can't equal this quarter. But Fab36 is online and should be shipping product out of there within days. Now we have no way of knowing the wafer starts, but Fab36 uses 300mm wafers instead of 200mm wafers that Fab30 uses. Since each 300mm wafer can have 2.25-2.5 times the number of die, production can increase pretty quickly.
