We are going through great losses and hardships in order to prevent Saddam's Iraq from becoming a - hostile - superpower. The bottom line is that if Iran is allowed to pull this off, then the entire campaign against Saddam makes no sense. So, I think there will be a lot of forceful resistance to Iranian nukes. Especially since the entire world seems to take this seriously.

Arab regimes are a pretty tough bunch... they'll spin it whichever way they'll think would be in their favor.
