That's not just wrong it ridiculous.

And why would they not? Look at the corporate ownership; it is uniformly Rightist.

Corporations give more to left leaning organizations than to conservative or libertarian organizations.

I agree with you that reporters tend to lean Left and why wouldn't they? Of all the professions, they are closest to the political process, and see how it really works.


So its "they lean left, but the left is correct so they should lean left..."?

But the ownership and editors matter most in determining what bias is passed on to the public.

The ownership of the "traditional media" (obviously not counting talk radio and blogs and probably not counting Fox News), isn't uniformly conservative. And what they care most about is making money, not ideological purity. The reporters and the editors and the producers effect the political content of the news more than the owners in most cases.
