I don't know how much money was spent in the Carter era when democrats were labelled with the "tax and spend" label. But for my lifetime, this pork spending I am witnessing from an all republican legislature is beyond anything I've ever seen. The amazing thing is that economic purists like Kudlow are willing to toss their free market principles out the window for any republican donor. For example opening up the drug market to a free bidding system or opening up the market for drug buying from Canada. This is "anti American" or something. Amazing. I will be most happy if we get a new administration in that undoes EVERYTHING that has happened these past few years. There is no benefit to anything that has occured in this entire decade.
