Have you ever thought that AMD might have something a little better than what they are offering now...

Well, they did overclock to 2.8GHz, I suppose in an attempt to be a little more realistic with the "July" ship date (Q3, really). Don't forget, that with AMD 65nm improvements, there will also be Intel tweaking in the next six months. I think Intel has demoed (providing those demos hold up with 3rd parties, Anand couldn't find anything wrong, tho') an appreciable difference that may not go away by Q4. I'd say that a lot of this has to stick.

I'm sure AMD has something more. It's been that way forever. The real question is what the market thinks. I think that will be "Intel has regained the lead". How that plays out is anyone's guess. My guess is that we've got about 2 more quarters for AMD gains. Beyond that, it's MS and ASP effects. As I posted earlier, where does AMD want to play? Gradual MS gains/losses, full blown duopoly, head to head hardball?
