haha yeah! don't get me wrong, I totally get your drift, that 9.5 billion revenue is not exactly a rocket ship given what "whisper numbers" were before last quarter. I think its a tough read though. For one thing, last quarter really put a stake in the growth expectations. I think a lot of analysts are wondering if goog can deliver their expectations this year, right now. That group which probably includes Raschty, is breathing a sigh of relief. Additionally, we don't know how old this forecast was. this says early 4th quarter. had been presented early in the fourth quarter of 2005 Maybe before the q3 numbers were out. which puts yet another spin on things. so in summary I don't think there is enough either way to predict goog tomorrow, about the only thing we can say for certain is that this was another HUGE GOOF! (and it will probably trade down just on that alone)
