Experience since then has taught me that all FSBOs are hard to deal with.

Spoken like a true ex-realtor <g>..

My experience after doing more than a few FSBO's on both sides of the table, is that the deal progresses as smoothly, if not more so, than if a broker was involved. Maybe takes a little more time, but it was worth it to all involved.

NAR ads nothwithstanding, this ain't rocket science.
