Buddy, do you HONESTLY believe ANY PARTY can reduce the cost of healthcare? We have the highest cost cause we have the greatest care. Sure we could go to a Canadian type system, but where would it get us, to the grave? The cost is what it is, if you want to reduce it at the fringes review law suits and their merits, review government required PAPER TRAILS, those would TRIM some costs but if you think you can reduce the direct costs of research, operations, patient care you are whistling Dixie. All you can do is reduce THE LEVEL of care, the RESEARCH for new products and the like. jdn
