And given that the market is forward looking, you should be out of AMD by now, if that's what you think.

The malicious glee in your posts about anything perceived as negative for AMD strongly suggests you are not long the stock.

I may have edited my post after you started to reply, but I admitted not being long on AMD at this time. I may get back in soon for a relatively short period of time hoping to catch AMD at a bottom, but unless revision F is something spectacular I will probably leave any my money on the sidelines in late 2006 and into 2007.

There is no "malicious glee" toward AMD as some of the ihub regulars appear to show, but I have no problems tearing down some of the unrealistically upbeat claims made here. I don't mind pointing out potential or real AMD miscues. In order to have a balanced view on AMD's long term outlook you have to take the good with the bad with the indifferent. I don't claim to be 100% accurate, and I think the AMD cheerleaders and longs here definitely have something to be cheerful about with AMD's runup over the last few years. I was pretty cheerful too back in 1997-2000 until the bottom dropped out. Fortunately AMD recovered, but there is evidence this recovery may be coming to a close.
