I don't know how you expect Rahul to decode the cryptic "it really wasn't broken" BIOS comments from a readme file. But FILL is such a basic graphics primitive, that if it is compromised, all hope of decent performance is lost.

I thought all hope of decent performance was lost because AMD is selling CPUs with defective Cool and Quiet which locks them down to 800MHz when gaming? That's what Rahul led me to believe. Perhaps a recall is in order to restore AMD's good name. :)
