The first Fest I went to was when I was in high school in 1975. I remember the Meters, the Rhapsodizers, Clifton Chenier and Roosevelt Sykes playing. There were many others, but they used to let you bring in yer own ice chest with "refreshments" back then so I'm just a little bit hazy about the details.....<GGG>
