Oops! Woman Claims Walgreens
Defamed Her On Its Computers
PALM BEACH (CN) – Oops. Walgreens has been sued in Palm Beach County Court for negligence and defamation by a woman who claims that when she bought her prescription medications from the pharmacy, she was surprised to see in the accompanying literature a section titled “Comments.” Under the category, “Patient,” she claims she saw the comment, “Crazy.” Under the category, “Priority,” she claims she saw the comment, “She’s really a psycho!! Do not say her name too loud, never mention her meds by name” and so on. The plaintiff claims all 5,122 Walgreens pharmacies are connected by computer and they all have access to the comments. She is represented by Cathy Lively.
