Operational links? Or that they shared the same brothers-in-law? I have seen no credible evidence of operational links. Or, for that matter, any links. I remember some story about someone receiving medical treatment in Iraq. That's like saying that the 9/11 hijackers had links to the US because they received flight training here... Saddam and Al Qaeda were mistrustful enemies. Saddam feared the religious nuts, and was what you guys call a 'secularist'. The religious nuts hated Saddam for his Western ways.
