A fine arguement in defense of your position. But let's set aside the question of manipulation. Let's also set aside the comparison to other stocks outside the sector. Let's focus on this: INVESTOR PERCEPTION ASND at 80? ASND today.....What has changed...? Investor perception!!! Did this happen because of manipulation by the brokerage industry? Is it the fault of an industry downturn or management failures? Who cares. Fact is there is a lot less risk at today's closing price than at 80 a few months ago. Could the stock fall due to poor earnings despite no preannouncement from management? Sure, but if they make the numbers or announce enough new business they will be setting new highs again just like NN. Look at this chart and that PE and tell me this industry is dead and investor's are unwilling to pony up for networking shares. Regards, Jeff quote.yahoo.com
