D, I think Canadian brokers offer poor service at high rates. That is true... I will say one thing in BMO's favour although I'm really ticked at them for more reasons than just rates... with the 5 star service I get through very quickly... rarely more than 3 minute wait.. Problem is I don't need to get through very often and typically it is in the evening after supper, kids etc that I would like to call for something ... but by then they are closed (8-8).. Maybe questrade.com The Webtrader option. I don't see level II on TSX though... Someone recently reminded me of these guys. IB seems to have the best breadth of choices though... Something needs to change... sigh.. Al
