There are no credible reports Saddam was involved with Al Qaida in any way, shape or form. In fact the only evidence found is that Saddam was an enemy of Al Qaida. Saddam killed more Islamic fundamentalists than anyone on the planet. If there was any such evidence, Bush-Cheney would be trumpeting it from San Diego to Maine as proof that they were not lying. Remember, one of the high crimes that might get Bush-cheney impeached is proof that they deliberately lied and misled us on the WMD and Al Qaida connection evidence. So if they could possibly cleasr their name, they would, In fact, they would have years ago.
