Ok.

The problem with profiling is that it can have bad side effects. One is to increase racial tension, including that group feeling more justified in their hatred. Another is that it may leave us with a false sense of security; a recent story told about how Al Qaeda was attempting to recruit Southeast Asians (remember: Indonesia has a huge Muslim population) as suicide bombers in an apparent attempt to play off fears of Middle Easterners.
