A $1 hurdle over last place seems like a little, but imagine a game where the market is down and the standings are -2% to -9%. Letting someone come in with 2 picks of $90 opens the door to that late entrant winning. The rules provide limited opportunities to shift a portfolio. This change would allow buys any time for a new entrant. Have you heard of the Boston Marathon where a runner ran the last 385 yards and got his photo in the newspaper? Elroy and Taro, if you open this door, it cannot stay open all the way to the last few days. IMO. I suggest new rules be posted for at least 24 hours for comments.
