Until recently I had some doubts. Look at how over the top hysterical they are now over even the most mundane issues. It's safe to assume that in the final months leading up to the 2006 elections the MSM & DNC will attempt to pull of any number of slanders & smears against the GOP similar to those puled against Bush prior to the 2004 elections. I expect them to be more polished & better planned. Keep in mind they are now on their 3rd election of the Bus Admin. They should have learned from experience how to dupe the electorate long enough to swing a significant number of voters. They still could pull it off.

However, one thing gives me hope. Howard Dean & others are simply salivating over the possibility of regaining both the House & Senate. So much so they are openly talking about impeachment & investigations into the so-called "culture of corruption" when they take over. That gives me hope because most Americans, when they are made aware of these plans, will see through it & reject it. Rather than giving America a rational & serious platform which would give folks a reason to vote for them, Americans should see the real disloyal opposition party for what they really are.
