It could be... and a dollar inplosion would arguably create a situation where you have large price increases not only in commodities, but also in many other inputs. You could have a depression with inflation IMHO.

That said, it doesn't mean that the first move (as we've discussed could easily be DOWN in gold (and presumably other commodities) as players make the initial mistake (which could last for a couple years let's face it) of thinking the crashing economy will crash demand world wide. And by the way... maybe it ISNT a mistake. :)
