You said that we were making deals for a pipeline before 9-11.

Now your statement is true, but Unocal ceased it's pipeline bid after UN Sanctions were passed against Afghanistan in 1999 - a fact confirmed by one of your articles:

"Unocal, a US MNC that planned to pay a $ 2.5 billion gas pipeline from Daulatabad in Turkmenistan to Pakistan through Afghanistan, closed its operations last year"
