Don- That was some ride with FDX today! Too bad I sold out at 76 1/2 and missed most of the ride. Late in the day, while riding down Broadway, I saw over a dozen FedEx trucks between 14 st and Wall st. This compares to just 3 or 4 UPS trucks. I know it probably doesn't mean much, but it still made me feel bad that I no longer had a FDX position. FDX is too expensive for me at 79. You might want to consider buying some April 80 puts to lock in a profit, if you plan on riding FDX higher.

As for me, I'm turning my attention to VVUS and ROK (which is spinning off its automotive business Meritor in the form of a 1 for 3 stock dividend on 9/30). ROK hasn't particpated at all in this year's bull market, mostly because of all the restructuring its been undergoing such as selling off its defense business to BA, and now spinning off its automotive division. I think the Meritor spinoff will be a windfall for shareholders because the stock will probably not decline in proportion to the value of Meritor after the dividend is awarded. There's much support at 60 right now. It may be worth considering. I picked up a few options a couple days ago.
