On the UAE deal for port management...it's nice to see that the threat of a good counter punch has the white house cowering. The irony is that the folks in Dubai figured it out quickly and dropped it while Bush was still talking veto.

It's interesting to me how the aggregation of "stupid things" (your point of "stupid is as stupid does")is creating the tipping point.

Maybe I'm old fashioned, but I think our democracy has built-in governors that will flush out people like bush and his crew.
