You may be right. I was just pointing out another scenario. I had a lot of respect for McCain until he showed what a bush toady he really is. I know he really hates junior but for him to cow down like he has for his own political gain turned me off to him. If McCain did take over the president after junior was impeached he would not pardon anyone until after the 08 election. He would campaign as if he would not pardon anyone but he would phrase his position in such a way as he could put forth a reasonable excuse for pardoning the crooks as soon as the election was over.
