So his FUD is that this is only about NGA pricing. Clearly the exec's comments apply to Intel's current situation. What does Intel do to slow AMD's growth? Either engage in a price war, or bring out new parts with better performance. The very fact that he set it up as a CHOICE, tells you it is not about NGA pricing, for NGA parts *are* the second option, meaning the choice doesn't exist if price cuts are referring to NGA parts.

The straightforward interpretation is the correct one: Either we cut prices (now), or we don't, and instead get competitive on performance (which we are doing).
