Dear Tom,

There is a HUGH construction and real estate boom in Dubai. There is no real poverty perse. 3/4 of the population is Indians who are mostly in the laborer catagory or as supervisors and managers. The UAE Nationals of which there are not that many are the owners and trader catagory. Guys like me try and manage 10 to 20 unrelated businesses which the owner liked at the time.
November to April is the time to be here. After that the heat and humidity are murder.
