if most parents were like you we wouldn't have these problems in our school systems, kids would be learning english and math, more would graduate from high school being able to read , write, and perhaps count.

I guess i am old school, teachers should teach on approved programs, not generate creative ideas , or food for thought in high school. let them get screwed up in college. In high school help prepare them for making a living in the world if they do not go on to college.

It seems the time could be spent more on reading assignments (approved by school board) and math problems than discussing Hitler and Bush. That will not get them qualified for a job.
