Dabum,

Thanks so much for the informative reply. It was very helpful.
BTW, do you use Volume by Price? If so, what is your time frame for it?

I have loads of books and videos on trading, but even though I have many TA books that discusses trendlines, I'd never found a book strictly on trendlines. Then I discovered THE BEST TRENDLINE METHODS OF ALAN ANDREWS AND FIVE NEW TRENDLINE TECHNIQUES. I bought a copy for myself at www.traderslibrary.com and when I found out how much I liked it, I sent it as a gift to a friend that trades. This friend is really big on trendlines and has loved this book. He tells me he's almost ready for a new one for he has pretty much worn this one out. If you're not familiar with it, it's in a paperback workbook format with large print and charts. There are many examples in there. I would suggest it to anyone serious about trading.

Another favorite of mine is THE LOGICAL TRADER by Mark Fisher. It talks a lot of the opening price and also pivots. IMHO it is excellent.
