I'm not familiar with Ry Cooder. What style does he play?

I never met the man, but people in my outfit knew Christopher Parkening, who studied under Segovia. Parkening's father owned land in our area, and he came to visit often.

I bought a book he wrote to learn his method, but it is simply WAY beyond my talentless playing. I finally gave that book to my wife's doctor, who likes to play classical guitar in his free moments.

I haven't touched my guitar in 25 years. I would probably be better off touching it than wasting time on the internet, huh?
